The churches in the Plymstock area - from Oreston to Elburton and Pomphlett to Wembury - work and worship together frequently. What unites us is Jesus Christ and our desire to live for him in this community.
Jesus restores the broken relationships between people and, ultimately, the broken relationship between us and God. The new eternal life that he promised is a reality in our own experience and we want to help others discover that too - like one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.
One of our major ventures is "Good Companions" - a monthly day out for older people, with a three-course meal, an act of worship, and live entertainment. This is run by volunteers from all the churches.
Every month we gather to pray for the community and our congregations.
We get together for joint worship services when there is a fifth Sunday in the month ...and on a few other occasions too.
At Christmas and Easter we gather at the Broadway to sing, pray and proclaim the good news message about Jesus.
...and we organise larger joint events from time to time so that we can work together in helping the wider Plymstock community discover the life and hope that are offered through Jesus Christ.
